UFC: Israel Adesanya lost championship match | A chance to become fifth fighter to hold two UFC tittle

The Nigerian-born New Zealand-based professional mixed martial artist, and former kickboxer and boxer Israel Mobolaji Temitayo Odunayo Oluwafemi Owolabi Adesanya also known as The Last Stylebender has lost a championship fight to a New Zealand fighter Blachowiz

The match was set to add Israel the fifth fighter to hold two Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tittle in the history

Prior to the match, Israel had said he will storm victory regardless of Blachowiz having more experience and being older than him

Adesanya is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world of mixed martial arts but the story changed as Blachowicz managed to land a good left hook and charged forward with a series of punches before scoring a takedown.

But Adesanya struggled in the last two rounds as Blachowicz dominated the fight and the Nigerian fighter was eventually beaten for the first time in mixed martial arts.
