President Muhammadu Buhari has appoint a 40-year-old man, Mr. Abdulrasheed Bawa as the new substantive chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC.
President Buhari made this known on Tuesday mourning February 16th in a statement read by his special adviser on Media and publicity, Femi Adesina said Mr. President has appoint Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa as the new EFCC Boss
Accord to the statement released, president buhari is seeking approval of senate as he described the man as a well trained with vast experience, which has undergone many special training around the world and he is the pioneer of EFCC cadet officer back in 2015
The statement is silent on the fate of Ibrahim Magu, a police officer, who was suspended as the commission’s acting chairman last year.
