#Occupylekkitollgate: Mr. Macaroni and other protester granted bail

The Nigerian comedian Mr. Macaroni and 39 other protesters arrested by the Nigeria police force in the #Occupylekkitollgate protest have been released from police custody

This was made known by the spokesperson for Lagos state police command, Muyiwa Adejibi who said the protected were arrested base on their conspiracy conduct of creating mayhem in the place

 He said:

The tollgate which have been closed by the Government for commercial operation for three months and was earlier this month scheduled to reopen on February 13th, the plan which was not welcomed by the #endsars protesters as they are demanding for complete investigation and prosecution of those that involve in the alleged Lekki toll gate shootingg

Follow the arrests of protester the socio economy and accountability project (SERAP) have earlier demand for immediate release of arrested protesters

Also Civil Rights society organisations said they are ready to take legal action if government refuse to grant the arrested protesters bail immediately and unconditionally
