New tension in Ibarapa North LGA as Farmer fled their places due to fear of attack from herdsmen

New tension has flared up in Ibrapa North local government area of Ibadan, Oyo state capital as Fulani herdsmen started taking over two communities in the LGA

the two communities, Kajola and Gbagba located at Ayete LGA

A resident speaking with the newsmen said that a Fulani herder living in the community was asked to vacate the community because he is not the owner of the land used. This was said to have infuriated other herdsmen

The king of the community, Asawo of Ayete, Oba Emmanuel Okeniyi told newsman that

The king added that the community hunters are ready to face the attack being head by Wakili but shelve the plan sake of the fear of if the winter killed him and other herder that are threaten the peace of the community will federal government won’t tagged the hunter a terrorist? whereas the federal government yet to take immediate intervention to the issue when it can still be curb

While on this, two men identified as Adekola Adeyemo 65-year-old and Jamiu Saedu 30-year-old allegedly struck with machete by some herdsmen on Saturday
According to Mr. Taiwo Adeagbo who confirmed the incident said the victims has been taken to Fumilayo clinic at Oke-Ola for proper treatment adding that the incident has been reported to a nearby police station
