High Court ordered CBN to unfreeze #ENDSARS promoters

The federal high court sitting in Abuja has ordered central bank of Nigeria with immediate effect to unfreeze the bank account of 20 #ENDSARS promoters

Justice Ahmed Muhammad of federal high court Abuja today February 10th reversed his earlier justment he made a few months ago when the CBN governor filled a lawsuit marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/1384/2020 against the owner of the bank account that received donations for the protest, nationwide protest which was staged early October 2020 against police brutality and excessive force and bad governance

On his ruling, he ordered all affected bank to unfreeze all the accounts of 20 #endsars promoters which include, Bolatito Oduala, Chima Ibebunjoh, Mulu Teghenan, Mary Oshifowora, Saadat Bibi, Bassey Israel, Wisdom Obi, Nicholas Osazele, Ebere Idibie, Akintomide Yusuf, Uhuo Promise, Mosopefoluwa Odeseye, Mary Kpengwa, Gatefield Nigeria Limited and Adegoke Emmanuel. 

Others include Umoh Ekanem, Babatunde Segun, Winifred Jacob, Victor Solomon, and Idunu Williams.

The case which Femi Falana the #endsars legal counsel stand against that time in other not to hindered the objective of the protest and for peace to reign

Recall on November 2020, when CBN ordered the freezing of any account that link to donate for the protest which the legal action was later taken by the CBN governor who filled the suit and in respect of which the ex-parte order freezing the accounts for 180 days was made on November 4, 2020.
