Four Northern governors paid visit to Gov. Seyi Makinde over ethnic clashes between Yoruba and Hausa

Four Northern governor paid visit to governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state over incessant ethnic clashes between Yoruba and Hausa group and most especially the recent Shasha Market crises
The four northern governor includes Governor Abubakar Bagudu (Kebbi), Governor Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Governor Abubakar Bello (Niger) and Governor Bello Matawalle (Zamfara) arrived Ibadan on Monday evening February 15 which are welcome by Governor Makinde and other top government officials at Agodi government house in Ibadan

It was gathered that the meeting was to address the issue of ethnic clashes occurs in the state and to find lasting solution to prevent reoccurring of such event
The meeting which last till 7pm on Monday was also connected to recent crises erupted in Shasha market in Ibadan, Oyo state capital, it was gathered that the four governor will tour round the scene in the market to observe on-the-spot assessment of the incident as part of duties of the visit
Recall on last week Friday’s altercation between hausa trader and Yoruba at a well popular Shasha market in Akinyemi local government area.
It all started after the issue of Hausa man slapped a Yoruba trader which erupt confusions and eventually lead to ethnic clashes where Yoruba and Hausa in the market mount heavy attack to each other
