Chelsea Sacked Frank Lampard after 18 months in charge

Chelsea head coach, Frank Lampard has been dismissed on Monday January 25th after managing the club for 18 months

Earlier today the Chelsea board have told their player not to report to training ground till Monday afternoon which fuel the speculations on sacking the head coach

In a statement released by the club which confirmed the termination of contract said:

The club action came followed Chelsea poor performance with five loses in eight leagues game which makes them sit at ninth position despite spending £200M on seven major signing in last summer transfer window
The Chelsea wins against Luton Town which took them to Fifth round in FA Cup seems not convincing the board

However, the former Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint Germain boss, Thomas Tuchel seems the club is considering to replace Frank

While on this, Sacking coaches is not a big deal for Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich, according to football financial journalist Abrahamovich have spent £110M on sacking coaches which is not include Lampard dismissal
Frank Lampard succeeded Maurizio Sarri on three years deal on July 2019 which he lead the team to fourth in the league table and FA cup final where they got beaten by Arsenal

In his first season at Stanford bridge, Chelsea did not buy any new player as they are under transfer embargo
