Chelsea Jason, Sancho’s signing Updates And other January Transfer Rumours

Chelsea will have to wait until at least the summer to try and secure the signings of top attacking targets Jadon Sancho and Timo Werner.

Sancho, at the top of Chelsea’s list, remains on a long-term contract at Borussia Dortmundwith the Bundesliga side’s hierarchy keen to hold onto the 19-year-old until at least the end of this season.

Real Madrid and Germany midfielder Toni Kroos, 29, could move to Manchester Unitedas part of a deal taking France midfielder Paul Pogba, 26, to the Spanish club.

Meanwhile, Juventus will offer French midfielder Adrien Rabiot, 24, in a player-plus-cash deal for their former midfielder Pogba. 

Arsenal have joined the race to sign Norwich’sEnglish defender Max Aarons but Tottenham remain favourites to sign the 19-year-old. 

Arsenal are also interested in signing Bayern Munich and Germany defender Jerome Boateng, 31

The Gunners have turned to Boateng amid concerns they may be priced out of a move for RB Leipzig’s French defender Dayot Upamecano, 21. 

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed he was interviewed for the Liverpool job in the aftermath of Brendan Rodgers’ sacking in October 2015, losing out to Jurgen Klopp. 

Manchester United attempted to bypass agent Mino Raiola when they attempted to sign Norwegian striker Erling Haaland from Red Bull Salzburg. The 19-year-old ultimately joined Borussia Dortmund. 

Tottenham’s Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen, 27, is closing in on a move to Inter Milan. 

Borussia Dortmund will not consider selling England winger Jadon Sancho, 19, to Chelseauntil at least the end of the season and the Blues will also have to wait to sign RB Leipzig’s Germany forward Timo Werner, 23.
