A Massive sea Leatherback Turtle Caughty In Foropa Comm. In Bayelsa| Leaving people Astonished

According to a social media user by @HRFkingFGA share photos of a massive leatherback sea turtle leaving people of Foropa Community, in Bayelsa state shocked after a fishermen caught it

It is not known what was done with the animal after it was caught last Friday, January 17, but people expressed fears that it might be killed and eaten by members of the community.

According to the user, the turtle weight 220kg and 500kg adding that they are not native to Nigeria sea

Back in February 2019, a dolphin was caught in the same community.
