2021 UTME: Student can not register without NIN – JAMB

the joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) have said no student will be allowed to register for the 2021 Unified tertiary matriculation examination (UTME) without National identity Number (NIN)

The exam governing body made this know on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 that all potential candidates must provide their NIN at the point of registration.

The exam registration which was scheduled to run from April 8 and end on May 15 was said to run concurrently with the Direct entry registration and  the registration will take place in 700 centers through out the country

According JAMB spokesperson Dr Fabian Benjamin, who made the announcement yesterday pegged the cost of application documents at N3,500, and an additional N500 for the recommended reading text.

He added that the exam will commence on June 5 at any JAMB accredited center across the country and end on the 19th of the same month

Benjamin also laid emphasis on mock test which will take place prior to the exam

He said

“Mock examination will be held on Friday, April 30 for those who indicate interest and are registered before April 24,”
